Ken Bendalin

After more than 20 years on the ownership, investment and development side of commercial real estate, I joined First American Titles National Commercial Services group with a straightforward objective: to bring an owners perspective to commercial title and escrow.

Throughout my career, I have worked across asset management, acquisitions, development and redevelopment, investment sales, underwriting and leasing. I have managed more than 25 million square feet of commercial real estate and 3,000 residential units representing more than $8 billion in asset value, executed development and redevelopment strategies involving more than 10 million square feet, and completed transactions totaling more than 12 million square feet.

That experience shapes how I approach my role at First American today.

I work with commercial real estate owners, investors, developers, lenders, and their advisors on title, escrow and construction escrow needs throughout the United States. Having spent much of my career on the client side of the table, I understand that title and closing are parts of a much larger transaction—and that responsiveness, communication, judgment and execution matter.

My experience spans retail, office, industrial/flex and multifamily properties across markets throughout the country.

At First American National Commercial Services, I serve as a single point of contact, connecting clients with our national title, underwriting, escrow and closing resources while helping provide continuity across transactions and markets.

I am always interested in connecting with people across the commercial real estate industry and discussing investments, development, capital markets and the broader CRE environment.
